Robot grid: make a new set

A fresh set of AP CSP style robot questions every time you click New set. The set number prints on the sheet. To reprint the same set later, type its number back into the Set # box.

HOW THE ROBOT WORKS

These are the same rules as the AP CSP exam reference sheet.

The robot is the triangle. It points the way it’s facing.
MOVE_FORWARD () moves it one square the way it’s facing.
ROTATE_LEFT () and ROTATE_RIGHT () turn it 90 degrees without moving it.
CAN_MOVE (direction) is true if the square next to the robot in that direction is open. The direction is forward, backward, left, or right, from the robot’s point of view, not yours.
GoalReached () is true when the robot is on the gray square.
Black squares are blocked. If the robot tries to move into a black square or off the grid, it stays where it is and the program stops.

Tip: turn the paper so the robot points up before you work out a left or right turn.
